Pints for Akshat

Terms

A short set of terms for a private app built for one week in Ireland. Nothing here is trying to be clever.

What this is

A game and an itinerary for one trip. It is not a product, it is not for sale, and there is no promise it will be working at any given moment.

Getting in

The admin adds your email address, then you sign in with Google using that address.

Signing in does not make you a player. An account with no invite can read the game and nothing else, which is the correct state for anyone not on the trip.

The admin can remove anyone at any time, for any reason, including the obvious one that plans changed.

The game

Points land the moment you claim. There is no approval queue.

Anyone can dispute a claim afterwards. The groom settles it and the ruling is final, because he is the one getting married.

The admin can correct any score, edit any challenge and reword anything on the card.

What you add

Challenges and captions you write are visible to everyone with the link, including family. Write accordingly.

Do not put anything in here you would mind being read out later.

Common sense

The challenges are suggestions. They are not instructions and they are not a dare.

Nothing in this app is a reason to drink more than you want to, get into cold water you are not comfortable in, drive, trespass, climb anything, or bother people who did not sign up for any of this.

If a challenge looks like a bad idea in the moment, it is a bad idea. Skip it. No points are worth it, and the target is deliberately reachable without any of that.

You are responsible for what you actually do. The app just counts.

No warranty

This was built for a weekend away by one person. It may break, lose something, or be down when you want it. If the score is wrong, the admin fixes it and the trip carries on.
